In the car last night while waiting for May to finish her monthly ritual with the money transferrer, out of boredom I grabbed My/Phone. Actually I have that phone-My/Phone with me for quite some time now, ever since my most precious Sony Ericsson gave up on me six months ago.
My/Phone is the first and only Filipino mobile phone brand that offers dual SIM.
Iam really not a type na mabutingting especially when it comes to a gadget, I use mobile to call, send SMS, and take pictures. I don’t care about the other features of it, as long as I can call and text, I’m happy with any phone. It was only until last night that I had the chance to browse the applications of my mobile. I came across a folder named Pinoy that contains riddle, salawikain, joke, famous movie lines, prayers and great Filipino quotes. It was kinda interesting especially the compilation of quotes from some of our great Filipino men: Jose Rizal, Manuel Quezon and Ferdinand Marcos. I only heard a few and it was very meaningful and can really lift up your spirit. I really can’t help myself but to play it over and over again until I memorized the lines with the same accent like the voiceover haha.
Ang sabi ni Gat Jose rizal: “I die without seeing the day dawning on my country…you who will see it, greet it…and forget not those who fell during the night!”
Ang sabi ni President Manuel Quezon: “I want our people to be like a Molave tree, strong and resilient, standing on the hill sides, unafraid of the rising tide, lightning and the storm, confident of its strength”
Ang sabi ni President Ferdinand Marcos: “Leadership is the other side of the coin of loneliness and he who is a leader must always act alone. and acting alone, accept everything alone.”
……wala ka sa phone ko! :)
